How this masterclass works
Three parts, sixteen chapters, eighteen films, two rooms.
This masterclass is How to Lead People and Influence Horses by Zachary Leyden with Kalea Leyden, taught as film. It teaches leadership the way horses teach it, and carries every lesson into the rooms where you actually lead: the sales call, the sprint, the boardroom, the kitchen table.
The three parts
The Leyden Standard
Leave every horse, and every person, calmer, safer, and more willing than you found them. The response adapts. The standard holds.
Who teaches it
Zachary Leyden served in the U.S. Army in Afghanistan, came home at twenty two and found his way back through horses. With Kalea Leyden he runs Ocean View Stables in Daly City, California, where veterans ride free, and works in enterprise software by day. He believes horsemanship makes a person better at leadership, parenting, communication and de-escalation, and that the horse is the wisest teacher he has ever met. Kalea Leyden is the architect of the Leyden Horsemanship Process and co-author of Soft Is Strong. The work stands in the lineage of Tom Dorrance, Bill Dorrance, Ray Hunt and Buck Brannaman, and the California vaquero tradition before them.
