A few things to know

• Our facility is gated and staffed. Instructors, barn team, and coordinators are on-site throughout your visit.

Cowboy Weekend on the Coast
Two days and one night with everything included. A private Large Pod on the bluff from 3:00 PM, a guided ride to the beach at 4:00 PM, the Cowboy Cookout BBQ that evening, a sunrise group horsemanship session at 7:00 AM before the fog lifts, then Breakfast with the Cowboys. The pod is yours until 11:00 AM. This is the true cowboy experience, minutes from the heart of San Francisco.
Day one, 3:00 PM
Check in at the barn office, collect the keys to your Large Pod and settle in with the Pacific out the front and the horses behind you. At 4:00 PM we saddle up for a guided ride to the beach; plan for 75 to 90 minutes, including the safety orientation. That evening we light the fire for the Cowboy Cookout BBQ.
Day two, 7:00 AM
A sunrise group horsemanship session in the vaquero tradition, before the fog lifts. Then Breakfast with the Cowboys. Keys back in the barn office drop box by 11:00 AM.
The details
$800 per person, two-guest minimum. One Large Pod covers a party of up to six; seven or more guests get a second pod. Check in on a Friday or a Saturday, so the weekend runs Friday to Saturday or Saturday to Sunday. Stays from January 1, 2027. Just want the evening? The Sunset Ride and Cowboy Cookout is the same 4:00 PM beach ride and BBQ dinner without the stay, from $500 per person, Friday and Saturday evenings.

Each is rented by the day with a two-day minimum, picked up at 3:00 PM and returned by 11:00 AM, and every rental also requires a horse experience, which is purchased separately.
How long do I get the pod for?
You rent it by the day, with a two-day minimum. Pickup is at 3:00 PM on your first day, when you collect your keys from the barn office, and return is by 11:00 AM on your last morning, when the keys go in the barn office drop box. You can rent for two days or as many days in a row as you like, and your pod stays reserved for the whole length of your rental.
Is a horse experience included in the price?
No. An experience is required with every rental and it is a separate purchase, charged on top of the pod rate. You choose it when you book: a Sip and Paint at $100, a one hour Foundational Horsemanship Lesson at $160, or the Horses on the Beach trail ride at $192.60. We do not rent a pod on its own.

How far is it from downtown San Francisco?
About fifteen minutes down Skyline Boulevard to downtown San Francisco, roughly twenty to Moscone Center, and about twelve to SFO. Traffic can stretch that. Most guests are surprised how close it is, which is rather the point.
Am I renting a room or the whole pod?
The whole pod. You rent the entire unit for the length of your rental, private to you and your party. There is no shared building, no lobby and no front desk.
Can I work from the pod between conference days?
Yes. Fast Wi-Fi, a kitchen, a table to work at and the Pacific out the window. Pods can also be rented by the hour as co-work space between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM on days they are not booked, with no experience purchase required for hourly co-work.
Is there a package with the pod, a cookout and a ride included?
Yes: Cowboy Weekend on the Coast.
