A painting evening at the barn
The Painted Trail runs its Sip & Paint evenings at Ocean View Stables, on the bluffs of Daly City. A local artist takes you through the painting step by step, so you do not need to have painted before, and you meet the herd during the evening. Tickets, dates and booking terms are The Painted Trail’s own and are shown on its site before you pay.
Supplies at your easel
Paints, brushes, canvas and an apron are set out for you, and you take your painting home.
The herd up close
You meet the herd and take photos with them, with the coast all around you.
Bring your own drinks
Bring your favorites. Cups and bottle openers are provided, and nothing is sold on site. There is a break for snacks and photos partway through.

- Ages: Public sessions are for guests 21 and over.
- Wear: Comfortable clothes you do not mind getting a little paint on.
- Parking: On site and free.
