On July 11, 2026, Ocean View Stables in Daly City announced three programs at once: Leyden Horsemanship lessons and clinics led by Zachary Leyden, author of Soft Is Strong; boarding for outside horses; and lease horses for students.
The announcement describes a way of teaching built on clear communication and purposeful pressure rather than force, with calmer horses and more confident riders as the goal. Lessons come as private sessions, small groups and weekend clinics, for youth and adults, and no experience is needed.
