A week of riding with Richard Winters
Ride the Rancho is Richard Winters' week at the V6 Ranch in Parkfield, about three and a half hours from the barn: five full riding days of arena work, big country riding, a real-life obstacle course and cattle work. We are going as a group of four students who have passed Level One.
The week: Friday, May 14 to Thursday, May 20, 2027.
How it works
Sign up here for a place in our group; that part is free. Then register with Winters Ranch, which runs the week, takes registrations by phone and sets its own fees. You can lease a V6 Ranch horse for the week through the ranch.
The week is limited to 30 to 33 riders, and the ranch allows no spectators or guests.
