Open ground between the city and the coast
Crews working the coast south of San Francisco need somewhere to stage: room for the trucks, ground for equipment, a place to brief and, on long jobs, somewhere to sleep. Ocean View Stables is a private ranch on the Daly City bluffs with all of it.
A staging day gives your crew exclusive use of the property, with the ranch closed to the public. Multi-day jobs are priced per consecutive day, and the pods on the bluff keep the crew on site with dinner and breakfast at the barn.
Any aviation operation on the ground is subject to the operator's own approvals; we provide the site, the parking, the beds and the meals.

From request to staging
Step 1 Send your dates
The form on this page: your dates, what the day is for, how many people and whether the team stays over.
Step 2 Read your written quote
It arrives by email within minutes: the venue day at the published rate, any pods, meals and a ranch hand, each its own line.
Step 3 Accept online to hold the dates
Sign and pay the 25% non-refundable deposit online and the dates come off the market. A further 25% is due 90 days before your first day, and the balance, with your final numbers, 30 days before.
Yes. On a multi-day booking the ranch stays exclusive to your crew between days, and a ranch hand can be on site at $85 an hour.

Yes. Eight private pods on the bluff: four Large Pods that sleep up to 6 at $650 a night and four Tiny Houses that sleep up to 4 at $450 a night, with dinner and breakfast at the barn.

The written quote arrives within minutes of the form. Accept it online with a 25% deposit and the dates are held.
The herd stays on the ranch and is managed by our team; staging areas are planned away from the horses.

Terms
The same terms at every size of booking
- PricesIn US dollars, before applicable taxes and the 3.6% payment processing charge, both itemized on your quote or checkout.
- PayingA 4-hour party or private event is paid in full online when you book. Ceremonies, exclusive days and weekends are held by a 25% non-refundable deposit, a further 25% at 90 days, and the balance with the final count at 30 days.
- HoursA party or private event is 4 hours, all in, and extra hours are $200. An exclusive day is 6 event hours plus the setup and breakdown window on your quote, and extra hours are $390. Amplified music ends at 10:00 PM.
- Exclusive useOnly an exclusive day, a weekend or a facility buyout closes the ranch to the public. A party, a private event or a bluff ceremony runs while the barn stays open.
- FoodAny licensed, insured caterer, with no fee and no commission; parties may bring a food truck. Ask about the Cowboy Cookout.
- Horses and animalsEvery horse stays with a handler, and every participant signs the Participant Agreement first; a parent or guardian signs for a minor.
- Horse ridesWhen you book horse rides, you get as many rides as a single horse can give in your booked time. Each ride includes fitting a helmet, getting the rider on and off, and doing the laps, so the number of rides varies. For a larger group, you may want to book two horses.
